Carta de amor a mi computadora   Love Letter to my Computer

I am writing this letter without stamp on your body, it will enter the deepest regions of your RAM, walking with a chill several million bits, your tender CPU, your always ready Pentium IV microprocessor and peripheral members that your memories will stay memorable.

You know you're my fourth and final girlfriend, Maribel, my love. The others were only brief and confusing times in my life. Prehistory of sin, typists of passion, love of children ("water in a basket", said my grandmother). Until you came, so yours with this view of life without trauma or grudges. Some material will compare with a sex doll you see that jealousies and bad blood have. But ours is spiritual, metaphysical, transustancial, metasexual ... although I sometimes excited, Maribel, with rapid changes in your screen, and me want to kiss you on the twelve volt hot tip microchip. How could I be angry with you? You are strong and bright, love. On your birthday I'll give you an "expansion bus" and a modem to make tourism trails copper and liquid crystal displays.

How many times have we played together at chess? Whenever I ask you to give me advantage and use less than one percent of your bits to win occasionally. And how generous you write "You win" on the screen, while I am jumping around the house with disproportionate cries of "I've won, I won!" Together we have fought several times the planet from invading Martians, jungle tour, participated in racing, annihilated ghost werewolf helped to regain their lost identity, and won hundreds of medals in the Olympics. Who could say that life with you is boring, sedentary?

And when you get to work? The other day I did a phone book amazement of friends and neighbors. No one would say that happened because of "bullshit go." Embarrassed nodded, biting his tongue and a flash of anger in their eyes. I know that all accounting, tax inspectors and librarians are to warble. They run out of the bargain, and you better learn to knit soon. My friends and I know who, the chat on Friday, we agreed, and we already forming a "club together", because the "user club" seems insulting. I should not tell because it's a secret, but we plan to make a tribute and a few days of relief. Some are so romantic who want to open a museum with relics of your ancestors: the Spectrum, Amstrad and Commodore. Tempus Fugit!

When you sometimes I program, I see you suffer in silence for a few circuits overheating disproportionate loops you could have saved with better mastery of assembly language. Poor thing! And on top of stupid to call you more than three nanoseconds to calculate the ten thousand first prime numbers, when I would have taken a year and failed. We are ungrateful, and right now I'm going to grease the top of the printer so that the neck does not hurt like I do, which is very annoying.

Get a gentle caress your deepest ROM, Maribel, my love, and randomizes the lyrics of this letter through your body and your circuits, until you're warm and lubricated for me, love and serve your hardware and your operating system Linux.

Forever yours:

Enrique
